A quiet street at first light, a line of distant figures in saffron robes walking away along a low plaster wall through morning mist.

Start with
the dates.

Nothing you send here commits you to anything. If your weeks don’t suit the country you had in mind, we’ll say so in the first reply.

Where and when

Where are you thinking?

Pick as many as you like, or none if you want us to choose for your dates. Multi-country trips need at least twelve days to be worth it.

Countries

Choose at least one, or tell us you’re not sure.

We need a month to say anything useful.

Pick a year.

How fixed are those dates?

Under eight and we’d usually tell you to book a hotel and a good driver instead — there isn’t enough room in the week for us to add much.

Roughly how long are you away?

Step 1 of 3

That’s with us.

Anchalee has it in Chiang Mai. You’ll get a real reply — not an autoresponder — within one working day, and it will either be a first sketch of the route or an honest note about your dates.

Before you ask

The four questions
we get every week.

Do you charge a planning fee?

No. Our margin is in the day rate and it’s the same whether you take three rewrites or one. We’d rather you took three.

Can you do it in a week?

Occasionally, in one country, if the flights are kind. Usually we’d tell you to keep your money and book a hotel and a driver.

How far ahead should we ask?

Four to eight months for high season, longer if you want Komodo liveaboards or Chiang Mai over Loi Krathong. Six weeks is possible and costs more.

What if the weather turns anyway?

It sometimes does. Every itinerary has a wet-day alternative written into it, and your guide has the authority to reorder days without calling us.
